Transport to the museum

TRAIN

The Ypres Museum is a 10-minute walk from Ypres station. And... it's always straight ahead.

bus

The bus stops 20 metres from the museum, at the “Ieper Markt” stop. At certain times, the bus only stops at the “Ieper station” stop. However, the station is also just a few minutes' walk from the museum.

It is also possible to visit the museum with your own bus. Buses can travel to the city centre. The Menenpoort stop is 5 minutes from the Yper Museum.

cycling or walking

Cycling to Ypres is fantastic. The city is located in a green and peaceful setting and is connected to cycle junctions in all directions. You can also hire bicycles in the city centre.

Exploring Ypres on foot is also well worth the effort. The beautiful old town still holds many medieval secrets. You can also enjoy the greenery of the ramparts. What's more, Ypres is not very big, so other museums and tourist attractions are always nearby.
