accessibility

Fewer mobile visitors

The Ypres Museum is accessible to visitors with reduced mobility and those with hearing and visual impairments.

Are you coming with a wheelchair? Please let us know in advance and report to the reception desk. A member of the reception staff will take you to the lift and assist you where necessary. Your companion will receive a special discount of 3.50 euro on the individual adult rate. There are seating areas in the museum rooms and adapted toilets. A walker and a wheelchair are available at the reception desk. These can be reserved in advance.

Auditory impairment

Informative texts are available in the museum.

There are no special facilities because our museum is very visual. All film clips are subtitled.

Visual impairment

Your companion will receive a special discount of €3.50 on the individual adult ticket price. Guide dogs are welcome in the museum. For blind and visually impaired visitors, a multisensory tour has been developed in collaboration with the target group.
